About Me

My name is Milana Doné (pronounced Mi-lay-na Doe-nay). I'm an early-career journalist currently based in southeast Wisconsin. I grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska and graduated from University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

I have worked on a variety of assignments from small-town events to enterprise stories to court cases to international solutions reporting projects. I hope to continue putting my skills into projects and communities I'm passionate about. I want to cover the stories that matter, about people, for people.
